Here at prospects-365.com, we realize that you could probably travel the world and not find two people that have the exact same prospect rankings list. That’s why, instead of only releasing one list and letting it speak for the entire blog, each contributor (and future contributor) will have the opportunity to release his/her own rankings upon completion (if so desired). Do you feel strongly that you could publish solid prospect rankings? Email us your interest at askprospects365@gmail.com.

Authors’ Note: LHP Kolby Allard was accidentally omitted from this list. He is supposed to be listed 46th, which places him after Leody Taveras and before Brendan McKay.
Explanation & Methodology: As you may have noticed, my philosophy is to favor younger, higher-ceiling prospects. There are certainly other factors to weigh, such as proximity to majors, injury history, positional scarcity, etc. I personally tend to mostly disregard catching prospects and outfield prospects that don’t project as star-caliber. Rarely do catchers amount to much in fantasy and I would rather take my chances on the waiver wire rather than invest long term. Outfielders grow on trees, so if someone isn’t a lineup-carrying producer, I’d rather look for infielders with pop or stash as many arms as possible. Moreover, you will see many middle infielders and center fielders ranked much higher on lists that don’t pertain to fantasy. A player who plays up the middle has tremendous real-life value, but if defense is a carrying tool, that may not translate to fantasy potency. My hitter rankings should remain as consistent as possible if player performance is on par. But when it comes to pitchers, expect volatility. Such is the nature of the position.
Devers is my #1 right now because not only does he have the ceiling I look for, but he is also knocking on Boston’s door at just 20 years old. Third base is a top-heavy position in fantasy right now and to me, Devers is someone who has a chance to crack that top tier in his prime. This same line of reasoning is true for Francis Martes being the highest pitcher on my list. He is already holding his own in Houston as a 21-year old starting pitcher. He also possesses front-end stuff and will be an impact arm when/if he can harness his command.
